Peter managed to drive the vehicle successfully on P1 during qualifying in their respective Split#2, at the same time he was going to start the race in the 1st stint.
During the opening & formation lap, Peter’s internet disconnected, with no damage to the vehicle, while the disconnect happened, Grant was quick to react and took over control, had the vehicle towed to the pits and jumped behind the wheel himself to start and chase down the pack! At this point unfortunately they were already 2 laps down and last.
Peter reconnected and joined the session, to help, support and spot for Grant. Approximately every hour they did their driver changes, each doing 1 hour stints.
Then with about 2 hours to go, technical issues struck this time Grant and his PC, but swiftly taken care of, but meant Peter pushing longer into his stint, until Grant reconnected and joined the session. With 45mins left to complete the race, Grant took over for the final push to the checkered flag! They both drove very consistently, clean and had fewest incidents in the complete field of drivers, and drove their Mercedes-AMG GT3 to P3 in their GTD class in Split#2.
We are very proud to have completed this endurance race so strongly and showed what we can do.
